strawberries, beans etc. Dad heard a faint call but being slightly
deaf he ignored it; the call came again so he got up and followed it
down the side of the house. The call for help became clear as he
turned the corner to find a pair of feet kicking up and down with
Mum on her back like a turtle out of water, trapped by raspberries,
sticks and string. Dad said that he would have gone straight to her
aid had he not been laughing so hard – but eventually he did help
her up, and quite unscathed.

Our efforts in collecting items for the Christmas
Shoe Boxes continues. This month we are
concentrating on the following items:
Shaving items ~ Make-up
Flannels ~ Shampoo ~ Max 250ml
Nail varnish~ Perfume ~ Deodorants ~ Tights
However, donations of other items are welcome
at anytime. Ann Farrer
Ann Coleman is making a separate collection of sewing
items for the sewing kits she is making.

building homes in poverty stricken countries
Bra Bank
Thank you to all those who have donated bras. Emily
took an entire boot full of bags of bras to Bare
Necessities in Wareham and they were very surprised
but happy to take them in! Please continue to donate
