The Prayer Room
As a precautionary measure, prior to a Synod building
inspection, the Elders have decided to close off the
small room, currently the Prayer Room, because they
have a lot of concerns over it being unsafe.
I have moved most of the books on prayer and the crys-
tal cross, recently donated by Ann and Cliff Churchill, to the back of
the church near the media desk. The prayer tree remains in the
vestibule. Although it is less intimate than the Prayer Room, the
church is always open for prayer when the building is open.
You are invited . . .
th
to the Community Open Day on Saturday 11 May at The Family
Hub (the old Day Centre and Children’s Centre) now run by
Swanage and Purbeck Development Trust. You can tour the site
and view and comment on the early ideas. It will also be an
opportunity for people to give feedback and put forward
their own thoughts.
