FUND RAISING

Our 60’s & 70’s Quiz was a sell-out at 60 tickets!

Well done Ruth for selling all these and Martin for managing to fit
everyone in the Hall and still have room for three Trolley Dollies to
wheel in all the Ploughman’s Suppers, followed by coffee and
shortbread.

Lyn and Emily were the ‘dream-team’ in efficiency in the kitchen -
not that there was any time to dream!

Marion and Rosemary A. ran a successful raffle organised by Ruth
and took £149, so £509 in all raised before expenses.

FUND RAISING in JUNE!
After our very successful Quiz in April which raised £429 our next
st
activity on our premises will be on Saturday 1 June, 6 - 8.15 pm,
when Emily and Elizabeth are planning a Fun Evening of Group
Challenges to hopefully cause much merriment and frustration!
Tickets £6 to include a light supper will be available from Ruth later
in the month. Look out for more information in next News Letter.
