The 50th Anniversary
of the founding of the
United Reformed Church
The Church was opened for a
th
Craft Fair on Saturday 20 August
and invitations were sent out to residents to
invite them to pop in for refreshments, and learn a bit more about
our church and how it seeks to serve our local community. It gave
members an opportunity to show visitors the wider role of the
Church in the community.
The photo shows Brian promoting the work of Fairtrade.
Information was available to visitors detailing the history of
Wareham URC back to Independent Chapel through its
Congregational routes to 1662.
