Takeoff

OVER THREE DAYS, in February for the past 14 years,
the Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance basks in the
spotlight as the nation’s fastest-growing celebration
of history’s finest automobiles. Being spearheaded by
the Boca Raton Resort and Club and benefitting the
Boys and Girls clubs of Broward County, it is also the
largest charity-based vehicular Concours event in
the world.

Attendees enjoy a Saturday night gala dinner and
auction with live entertainment and an expertly
judged car and motorcycle show on Sunday—but the
opening night kickoff party on Friday sets the tone
for the entire weekend. Hosted by Atlantic Aviation
and taking place under and surrounding a private
hangar at the Boca Raton Airport, the Hangar Party
provides an atmosphere that is part cocktail party,
part car show, and part networking event.

Some of Braman Motorcars’ finest Bentleys and
Rolls-Royces lining the giant red carpet made for
a prime backdrop for hundreds of guests as they
made their way into the hangar, where they could
then sample a variety of national and local craft beer
selections, wine, liquor, and delectable bites from
nearby restaurants. Multiple high end vendors, a live
DJ, and a venerable who’s who of local automotive
dealers and enthusiasts all combined to make the
2020 Boca Concours d’Elegance Hangar Party one
that set the bar higher than ever.
