and then Ireland, hopefully. But yeah, so England, March, April and May. We’ll be over

in Germany in September and October this year as well.

BiTS: Tell me something about the making of the album. All done in the studio?

WW: Yeah. So we recorded it live in the studio. I think with a blues album especially,

it's important to record the band together at the same time because with it being an
improvisational art form, I need the band to be reacting to what's going on when I'm
soloing, and you know it helps to drive the energy.

    BiTS: Right.

WW: So we recorded it live in the studio. I did a few vocal and harp overdubs
afterwards. We had someone come in to film the whole session, so we have a video

on YouTube for every song on the album.

BiTS: I haven’t seen that. Is that out now?

                                                                               WW: The first two singles

are out now, so ‘Blues Is Still
                                                                               Alive’ and ‘Wild Man’, yeah.

                                                                               We had Chloe and Lindsey
                                                                               from Brave Rival and my
sister Dani came in to guest
on backing vocals on a few

                                                                               songs as well.

                                                                               BiTS: Right. Tell me
                                                                               something about the band,

                                                                               Will.

WW: So it was a completely
                                                                               new lineup that I put

together for this record, and I thought long and hard for a few months actually, about
who I was going to get to be on this album, and I'm really happy with the line-up that

I found in the end. So the drummer is Steve Rushton, who was in Imelda May’s band
for years, and he's played with Jeff Beck. There's actually a video on YouTube of him
playing ‘Walking In The Sand’ with Jeff Beck and Imelda May, which is one of my

favourite live recordings of all time, I think. Just the energy on that song and a lot of
that energy has to do with Steve's drumming on it. So yeah, I was really happy to have
him come in and play drums. The guitar player is a guy called Bobby Harrison, who

I found through YouTube actually, because he teaches some blues guitar stuff on
YouTube, but I really liked his playing, and it turned out he plays in Cliff Richards live
band. He used to play in Brit Floyd as well, the Pink Floyd tribute. He's a great guitar

player. Greg Coulson on keys and Russell Carr on bass, who you might know. He plays
    with the Blockheads occasionally.
