actually tell me that it's happening so I can do that for them. And with my own music, my album
came out on 6th March and it's flying. I mean it's really doing very very well and I did 96 solo gigs
last year, I think and this year I was looking to be doing, not quite so many because I wanted to

focus on getting the Outlaw thing sorted
out, but also I wanted to do more band gigs
and I was just in the process of booking a
number of venues to have the bands play
at art centres and things like that, when

   suddenly the coronavirus thing all
happened. I've just shelved that for now
because I don't want to book and find it's
all unpredictable, so it can wait.

   BiTS:

Absolutely not. It's a terrible time for
anybody like yourself who depends on
   their income from music venues.

   CF:

Well, we need to make the venues survive.
The artists will only survive if the venue
survives, so that's got to be the key thing
really. I am actually gigging. I'm actually
gigging on Saturday. I'm doing an online
gig. I'm doing a live from the living room. Live from the living room, Saturday at half-past nine.

There's a ticketing link on my website and everywhere else. I tried it last night and it's going to be
very, very informal, like so informal I probably won't even bother doing my hair [laughing]. It will
be fun I think actually. It worked really well and people can buy tickets to come and see the gig and
almost more like I'm going to be hanging out and playing some songs and chatting a bit and playing
some more and just trying to keep live music going as much as we can.

   BiTS:

Do you do all this by yourself, or do you have people that work with you?

   CF:
Well, I've got a manager at the moment although actually, I've said to him that I think it's time to

stop. Not because he's done anything wrong at all but because I feel that financially situations aren't
as great as they could be at the moment with everything as it is. He's only been on board for about
six months, so up until now I've done everything myself and I will be reverting to doing everything
myself but what I don't know is how things are going to be in six months' time and it's very hard to
predict what's going to happen and I'm sure if we all had a crystal ball it would make life a lot
easier, but Outlaw will come through at the other end of it and so will I as an artist. Without a

doubt, I will definitely still be doing music, but in what format and how, I haven't quite worked out
yet. What I planned to do and want to do is festivals and get back out on the touring circuit a bit
more, but I'm not necessarily sure that's going to be there as it was before, so we'll have to just wait
   and see.

   BiTS:

Yes, it's a very worrying time for millions of musicians all around the world.
