appointments since he was born. So we had a hospital appointment for him and then this
interview with you. I do a lot of teaching as well. I teach music.

DW: But yes, so, tomorrow I'm spending all day auditioning young musicians who want to go
to the British and Irish Modern Music Institute to do their degrees and college courses, so that's
quite nice. Yes, a nice way to earn a little bit of money [chuckling] listening to young musicians
perform all day and giving them lots of feedback, which is nice. But yes, it's a real mixture at the
moment of songwriting, gigging, teaching young musicians. I write for Blues Matters magazine
and yes, kind of a portfolio career really or you know, all sorts of bits and bobs, all very creative.

BiTS: It seems to me that Brighton must be quite a centre of musicians in one way or another.
I did an interview with Russell Keef fairly recently. I know that Will plays with him on occasions.

DW: Yes, there's loads of great
                                                                                musicians here. Danny Giles,
                                                                                the guitar player, he's Brighton
based as well. Ben Poole lives

just outside of Brighton, and it
is a real hub. Apparently, I
                                                                                believe there's more music
                                                                                venues in Brighton per square
                                                                                metre than there is anywhere
else in the country, so just a real
hub of musical activity and lots
of music students all over the
city as well. So yes, it’s quite a
                                                                                cool, exciting kind of creative
                                                                                place to be.

BiTS: Dani, I won't take too
much more of your time. Thank
                                                                                you very much indeed for
talking to me. It's been a
pleasure and I must say I really do like the new single. It's really absolutely fabulous. Your singing
    is beautiful.

DW: Oh, thank you. Thank you very much. Yes, I'm really glad you like it because it's, you know,

a real combo of genres really, it's bluesy but it's singer/songwriter and it's folk and it's a bit jazzy.
It's a bit of everything really. So I'm glad you like it.

BiTS: My pleasure. I won't take any more of your time, Dani. Thank you very much indeed for
    speaking to me.

DW: Thank you for having me.

    BiTS: Bye. Bye.
