deeply involved with the life in France, even taking part in local public events.

AS: Yes. Oh, yes. Yeah. I mean, if you're going to live in a country, you need to

integrate, you need to be part of it. Too many Brits come over here and indeed other
countries, and they don't learn French, they don't join in the local life. They just want
to recreate a Brit community in France. That is completely the opposite of what we

came to France for. We didn't come to France to spend all our time with Brits, and
we don't.
