I've always been a great admirer of Don O (Don Ottesman of KNON, Dallas, pic below) Ed) because
he played some fabulous music on his radio show.

   AJBJ:

Well, he's still at it. We just did a couple of interviews. My
wife and I, Kerrie. We did a couple of interviews for our
                                                 new record.

                                                 BiTS:

That's wonderful. Tell me about that record, Kerrie, Jr. and
Kerrie's Blues. How did that come about?

                                                 AJBJ:

Well, it came about, in fact, she had been touring with me
because we've been together over ten years, but I
integrated her into the act which was I think the best move
I've ever made because her vocals take the whole act to
another level, and it was time. I was in a little bit of a funk
and I hadn't written anything and so she was always in my corner pushing me to write and it was
time for us, we were trying to figure out a way to pull us together as one act because we did a solo

project on her called Organic Blues and then I had one, a collaboration of stuff that I'd recorded in
the past and it was called It's Me Again and so we decided we wanted to do something together
because we're sharing our talents on stage all the time, so I started writing and she started writing
and then we had a collaboration. Well, actually Tommy Hill was on it. He was with the Charlie
Musselwhite band. He's here in Dallas, so he's on the record and Tim Waites is on the record. He's

playing with Matt Schofield right now. He's the bass player and also John Street who played with
Anson. Anson Funderburgh. He's playing keyboards on it.
   BiTS:

Going back to the record again there are 13 tracks. Are

they all either you or Kerrie or jointly written?
   AJBJ:

Yes, some of them she's written. I think I wrote most of it.
The instrumentals was myself, Tommy, Tim Waites and
John Street. We wrote a couple of instrumentals and Blues

at Sunset, I wrote myself and most of the other stuff I
think Tim Waites did a collaboration on about three songs,
Blues Party, Tim Waites and Don't Mess with Me, with
Kerrie singing is Tim, myself and Kerrie and I think
there's another one that he collaborated on, it's gone by
   me right now.

   BiTS:

Are you working on anything at the moment? Are you planning to go back into the studio again or
   anything like that?
