On behalf of the ladies of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Kappa

Iota Omega Chapter, it is our esteemed pleasure to present seventeen beautiful young
ladies to society in this our Twenty-third Biennial Debutante Ball. We are proud to present,

"Seventeen Precious Pearls…Polished and Poised" who are Soaring through their

outstanding character, leadership ability, scholastic aptitude and community service. We
proudly present these young ladies to the Roanoke Valley and to the world.

Thank you to ALL, our Debutantes, parents, family members, friends, and

community members for your love, encouraging words, financial contributions, and all of
your support during the Debutante Ball Season. Thank you for being a part of our village

as we nurture these young ladies to become outstanding and productive citizens in our

society. We are most grateful to you for making their Debutante Ball a memorable
experience to be cherished for a lifetime.
