❖ What did you do right and what did you do wrong?
Things I did right:
• Followed the objectives strictly
• Did relevant online courses and followed the best practices in the domain
• Followed the timeline efficiently
• Kept the mentor updated
• Established great networking in the organization
Things I did wrong:
• Did not visit plants twice to understand the information flow physically
• Took bottom to top approach which took more time and efforts
❖ What are the things to keep in mind in the internship?
• Don’t limit yourself with the given objectives rather try to widen the project scope
• Spend as much time as required to understand the problem and its scope
• While providing the solution make sure they are doable
• Be proactive and enthusiast
• Keep the mentor updated
• Established great networking in the organization
❖ What pre-internship preparation do you suggest for juniors?
• Clear all the concepts of inventory management (Inventory planning, Inventory norms, 6 sigma etc.)
• Understand all the aspects of Demand planning with real cases
• Basics of Supply chain Management (the information flow, material flow, cash flow)
• Advanced excel is must
• VBA tool for automation (Basics only)
• Power BI (it would be a cherry on the cake)
• Power point is Must (a great presentation is what makes you unique)

• Be confident
• Sometime people may get arrogant so be patient
• Make your timeline very efficient and follow it
• Don’t overthink about the PPO just do a great project and don’t get influenced by fellow interns after all
they are your competition
