is the most important person during the internship. Ensure that you are transparent with him/her on everything
you have done well, and NOT. See to it that you will mention the mistakes you commit to the counsellor, and
also justify them if you can, before someone else points it out to him/her.
Also, there is no point in overburdening oneself. One project and two firm initiatives seem like an optimum
number of engagements to undertake. If you still have bandwidth, don’t be free, look for opportunities to
assist practitioners on the floor with their deck, research, proposal, etcetera.
❖ What pre-internship preparation do you suggest for juniors?
• A refresher on Excel (Can never be too good at it)
• Practice Deck building (For all the slides you will be preparing/fixing)
• Introduction to Tableau (Might turn out advantageous, you never know)
• Following something like McKinsey Insights on relevant topics and current trends related to your field (Will
help in making talk and networking as well)

Goes without saying but avoid complete inebriation at any office related parties.
