PPO Diaries
❖ What did you do right and what did you do wrong?
The two things that I believe that I did right are:
• Initially concentrated on delivering only the main objectives, later based on availability of time I could
add more value to it by going an extra-mile.
• Initially spent most of the time in office for networking with stakeholders and get a clarity about
deliverables.
❖ What are the things to keep in mind in the internship?
The most common mistake that everyone tends to commit is to start working on the objectives right from the
beginning. As per me, those objectives should be discussed with mentors and guides to get a clear picture.
Otherwise you will end up in proceeding through wrong path and realising the mistake during the Mid-review.
So, what ever the major step you are taking it has to be verified thoroughly.
Next is, not to get overambitious. We have only 2 months of time to complete our project. So, you should
concentrate on most important and critical objectives which can make more business impact.
❖ What pre-internship preparation do you suggest for juniors?
Instead of learning a lot of software’s, I would suggest going for only the required ones after having discussion
with Alums and concentrate more on practicing it.
