PATROL LEADERSHIP TRAINING

The framework of scouting is built by doing things in the real
world. Experience is the best teacher and it becomes all the more
better when the experience is wisely guided by a mentor.

It is with this idea that a patrol leadership training programme was
th
conducted on 27 July 2019 at Vivek Vidyalaya. It was organized
by North Mumbai district Bharat Scout/Guide.

North Mumbai District schools, from Andheri to Dahisar (Total
35 Schools) participated in this programme.

Approximately 275 students along with 35 teachers and 20
District council members of North Mumbai District were also
present for the training.

The training was imparted
through Lecture Method.
Enough activities were also
given to the students, so that
they understood (Learn) by
doing. As a part of the activity
they were asked to prepare
patrol flags, patrol names and
demonstrate types of whistles,
scout and guide claps &
hoisting of flag.

Snacks and lunch was provided to the guests. Mr Krishna Kumar Naidu, Asst.-District Commissioner,
made all the arrangements to conduct this event there by making it a grand success.
