And from that day, life in our
valley was never the same again...
EXT. CLEARING - DAY
From a safe distance, the FRUIT and VEGETABLES watch on as
more and more trees are cut down.
Soon there’s a clearing in the forest.
After a while it’s filled with a huge pile of tree trunks, stripped of their branches, stacked high in the centre.
NARRATOR
More and more of them came and they
soon outnumbered us. They chopped
down our trees, took our land and
built a fort.
TIMELAPSE SEQUENCE: A wooden fort built with the tree
trunks. Small buildings appear around the fort and it grows
into a small settlement, which expands to become a small
village, which grows into a small town, which becomes a large town, then expands to become a city, that metamorphoses into
a huge metropolis with a skyline of brightly colored
skyscrapers. GORGEOUS
NARRATOR (CONT'D)
Which grew into a settlement, which
grew into a town, which grew into a
city. Then expanded to become an
even bigger city. Until it became a
metropolis!
EXT. VILLAGE - DAY
A series of LOUD EXPLOSIONS shake the ground!
Frightened FRUIT and VEGETABLES stare with wide eyes.
A BABY VEGETABLE starts to cry.
EXT. VALLEY - DAY
The EXPLOSIONS are coming from the far end of the valley.
