                                    Creating your Express Entry profile





         By this point, you should have checked to         see if you  meet the eligibility requirements of
         one of the three programs managed by Express Entry:

              1.       The Federal Skilled Worker Prog ram (FSWP)
              2.       The Federal Skilled Trades Program (FST)
              3.       Canadian Experience Class (CEC)


         If you haven’t evaluated your eligibility for on e of  the prog rams abov e, use the

         Provided you are eligible, there are a number of  impor tant steps that you  need to              take:



         STEP 1: Find your NOC


         The Canadian government classifies oc cupation s using the Nation al Occupation al
         Classification (NOC) system. This allow s them to         analyze you r oc cupation  based on  skill
         type and level, as follows:


                 Skill Type 0 (zero): management jobs, such as:
                          restaurant managers
                          mine managers
                          shore captains (fishing)



                 Skill Level A: professional jobs that usually call for a degree from a university, such as:

                          doctors
                          dentists
                          architects



                 Skill Level B: technical jobs that usually call for high school  or  training as an
                 apprentice, such as:

                          chefs
                          plumbers
                          electricians
