Determine your eligibility for Express Entry
Now that you understand what Express Entry is, the next step is determining you r
eligibility for Express Entry.

You will only need about 15 minutes to complete this form. Once that’s don e, you will
get a detailed list of instructions for what to do next.
After completing the government’s form, you will not immediately know which
program you may be eligible for. You will be show n which prog ram you are eligible
for after you complete your Express Entry prof ile.
In order to be eligible for Express Entry, you need to meet the eligibility requirements of
one of the following three Canadian immigration prog rams:
1. The Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
This program is for skilled workers who can econom ically establish themselves and
contribute to the labour market needs of Canada. Applicants are con sidered based on
their education, work experience, know ledge of English and/or French, and ot her factor s.

2. The Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC)
This program is for qualified and experienced tradesperson s wor king in specific
occupations. Applicants are considered based on their wor k experience in a skilled trade,
knowledge of English and/or French, and a job of fer from a Canadian employ er.
