Verbal and Non-verbal Communication

Communication is the process of exchanging information through an agreed system of signs,
that is, the process of sending information to oneself or another person. We divide
communication into verbal and non-verbal communication. Communication in which words
are communicated is called verbal communication, and the basic communication tool between
people is language. Non-verbal communication is communication without words.
Communication is impossible to avoid, precisely because of the way we communicate non-
verbally. On the poster, we will show the division of the communication process, signs of verbal
and non-verbal communication, ways of communicating with the patient and explain the
importance of verbal and non-verbal communication with the patient.
