Inmate Accounts Administration
INMATE ACCOUNTS - Inmates who want
to purchase items above and beyond their basic
needs are able to have friends or family deposit
money into their Jail bank account that is managed
by our Inmate Account Specialist. The inmates are
then able to purchase items from the Commissary
kiosk, which includes books, specialty foods
wireless headphones as well as the ability to make
phone calls.

GENERAL ACCOUNTING FUNCTIONS FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OFFICE:
• Ensuring Inmate funds are tracked accurately.
• Negotiating contracts with businesses for services to the jail.
• Processing bail payments.
• Processing medical payments.
• Tracking and billing for inmate housing.
• Securus Tablets: The tablet program for inmates was started in June of 2020 and has continued to evolve in
2021. The inmate tablets provide the following applications through our vendor Securus: phone, messaging
application, podcasts, Ebooks, educational programs, law library, job search, radio, and the ability to receive
photos/short videos from outside parties after review by security. (There is now an FYI application on the
tablet where the Sheriff’s Office can upload information directly to the tables for the inmates.) Some of these
applications include the Inmate Handbook, AA meetings, Medically Assisted Treatment, Re-Entry Informa-
tion, and Religious Services.
