IN MEMORIAM Rob was made an Honorary Life Member of Section
ROBERT J F BUTLER VIII in 2014 during Section VIII’s 50th anniversary
25 January 1939 - 25 August 2021 induction ceremony in Sydney.
Rob is also well remembered for his keen wit and
his love of a good chat! He is survived by his three
children – Jeremy, Sarah and Ben – and their spouses
and by five granddaughters.
2021 VIRTUAL INTERNATIONAL
COUNCIL MEETING
For the second consecutive year, the annual
International Council meeting was conducted via
Zoom due to the pandemic. The Council meeting
on September 11 was preceded by an information
and discussion session for Councillors on August
28. Both Section VIII International Councillors, Clive
Ross CNZM and Jackie Robinson, participated in the
