If you are like most non-fiction authors, you’re sick of buying Amazon Ads books and courses that leave your head hurting. The return on time spent optimizing ads continues to diminish while cost-per-click continues to increase. Our focus needs to shift if we desire to continue to make money from our work and the place where most online book sales occur is Amazon.
If you’ve paid attention to anything by Russel Brunson on the topic of pay-per-click platforms (like Facebook and Google), this should not come as a surprise. Having just a few authors/publishers who spend millions of dollars a year each on Amazon Advertising is the most profitable. It means less customers spending a lot more money. That is where we are headed but there are things we can do to ensure you continue to be one of the few non-fiction authors who remain profitable for the foreseeable future.
