Why would you be a good fit for RBCC?

McDonald Design Group has the creativity to lead an inspired renovation program at Reho-
both Beach Country Club. Up until this point, we have been tasked with molding our RBCC

improvements into the design fabric of your existing golf course. A comprehensive Master
Planning document will finally allow us to reimagine the entire look, feel, and presentation of

the golf course. We look forward to the opportunity to discussing our vision for the golf facil-

ity in person over the coming weeks... it will be a fun and engaging meeting!

As stated previously, McDonald Design Group has familiarity with similar difficult Eastern

Shore properties. RBCC certainly qualifies as a difficult site given the flat topography, high
water table, and tidal issues. Our drainage experience and technical knowledge is augment-
ed with our in-house GPS, Robotic Total Station, and AutoCAD equipment and surveying soft-

ware. The RBCC Long-Range Master Plan MUST be a detailed, surgical plan—all planned to

the inch to convey water across the site as efficiently as possible.

McDonald Design Group has built constructive working relationships with RBCC’s Staff, as
well as the Club’s related Consultants and Vendors including Hydro Designs, Irrigation Ser-

vices, Inc., and Turfgrass Disease Solutions (Steve McDonald, no relation). Given the chal-
lenging site restraints and the recent investments to the Club’s irrigation system, these rela-

tionships will be vital to limit duplicate infrastructure costs during the future golf course ren-

ovation process.

Our design/build business model is unique to the industry. RBCC has benefitted from our

control of all project aspects including design, planning, scheduling, and cost/budget man-
agement. Put simply, we make promises and then we keep them.

Our local experience will be of great benefit to RBCC. We already understand both RBCC’s

and your Competitor Clubs’ place in the regional private Club market. This background will
sharpen our ability to introduce a new character at RBCC to further elevate your standing

among these neighboring clubs.

Perhaps most importantly, McDonald Design Group has the energy, drive, and interest to

guide this improvement program. Our vision for the future of your golf course is exciting,
and the RBCC master planning process will receive our full attention.
