CFBPW ANNUAL CONFERENCE PROGRAM FROM WEBMASTER
BPW International has a webpage as does NFBPWC and CFBPW. They all look different, but
have the same type of information – i.e. officers and chairs, upcoming meetings and confer-
ences, training opportunities and various communications.
BPW International Home - BPW International (bpw-international.org) tells who the
officers are showing the area they represent and what their goals are. The Standing Committee
Chairs are listed including Sher Singh’s Arts and Culture Committee with links to Committee
websites. The website gives the history of BPW International and Lena Madesin Phillips, the
founder of BPW International. BPW International also has a free newsletter. To receive it, a
person has to register on the site. It was being issued monthly, but it is now less frequent.
The website lists International projects – e.g. “Wellness Clinic” in St. Kitts and “Empowering
Girls Through Education and Skill Development” in Pakistan. Clubs and Federations can list
their projects on the site. NFBPWC lists two projects – period poverty and displaced Afghan
women. There is a business and services directory where members can list their business and
services for free. BPW International also has partnerships with various organizations – United
Nations Women, UN Global Compact, Project 5-0, etc. BPW International has done training and
information webinars on such topics as AI, breast cancer, the future of work in the 21st centu-
ry, BPW and the United Nations, etc. These webinars are free to members and recorded for
members to view later. Of course, there is registration and other information on the next In-
ternational Congress, which will be in St. Kitts, November 17-21, 2024. The five regions in
BPW also have meetings. Registration information for these biennial meetings is also here.
NFBPWC https://www.nfbpwc.org/ is in the process of revising their webpage. The tabs
at the top are still the same, but there are boxes that you can click on that will lead you direct-
ly to – the blog, take action and the magazine. There are additional faces which you click on
that leads you to programs, join, advocacy and donate. Further down there is the box for the
calendar. On the bottom of the page are the various topics/pages you can click on for infor-
mation. NFBPWC has a number of committees that members can serve on. There are no quali-
fications to serve on these committees. The Committees have programs and
training. …/...
