These are free to members of BPW. Non-members may have to pay for some of the programs.
There is also a business directory. Members can add their business for free. There is infor-
mation about NFBPWC’s relationship with the United Nations. We have had consultative status
since 1947. NFBPWC participates in the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women.
There is information on this along with how to register next year for the March 2025 Commis-
sion meeting. NFBPWC’s Biennial Assembly is July 18-21, 2024 in King Of Prussia, Pennsylva-
nia. Information on this Assembly along with how to register is on the website. This is a hybrid
meeting. Each of the Federations and Clubs also has a page on the national website. Every
member is also listed in the directory, but you have to log in to get that information. Members
should update their pages as what is there originally is very basic. Also, by logging in mem-
bers have access to the Committee Directory, the Resource Library (here are the national
bylaws, how to start a club and various forms), the New Member Welcome Guide, etc.
NFBPWC also records their trainings which are available through NFBPWC’s YouTube channel.
CFBPW https://bpwcal.org/ webpage has pages for each Club and District, which the local
Club and District need to send me information to keep it up-to-date – lindalwilson@juno.com
or Linda Wilson, 1000 E. Newmark Avenue #22, Monterey Park, CA 91755. Besides infor-
mation on your meetings and speakers, please send photos. With the photo indicate who is in
the photos. Please send photos of New Members or Returning Members for the website along
with the name. The website gives Clubs and Districts free publicity. There is information
including the agenda and registration for CFBPW Board Meetings and Conferences.
The “Members Tab” has forms, bylaws, the Officers and Chairs for CFBPW and even programs
that a Cub of District can use. Non-members do look at the website. When they download the
newsletter, we see who is looking at it. The membership chair can follow up to see if they are
interested in joining. Some people leave a message under “Contact Us.” These messages
either go to me or the President. Some of the messages say they want to clean our buildings
and others want to provide a speaker (usually there is a cost). We reply to these messages
so people are looking at our website, so help the webmaster keep it up-to-date.
