This edition of California woman represents the first quarter of my term as your
President for CFBPW. California has been paving the way to success and keeping up
with this year’s theme,

TEAMWORK, COOPERATION, PARTNERSHIP. INSPIRATION.
It is an honor to serve as your President. During this short time, I have come to
appreciate the level of commitment and dedication that is present among the members
of CFBPW. The support I have been receiving from the existing members is quite
commendable.
I had the opportunity to attend two BPW picnics both in Northern California and
Southern California. It has been such a joy to meet members in a casual setting.
California has added 10 new members since May 2023. Congratulations to the
efforts of membership chairs of the clubs.
California has worked closely in collaboration with the NFBPWC. The Sierra Mar
District joined hands to support National Young BPW initiative of Period Poverty.
Members of California BPW supported the BPW Latin America Regional Confer-
ence by attending the event.
I look forward to your participation at our Fall Board meeting scheduled on Octo-
ber 21, 2023. It will be an all-day event via Zoom and an excellent program. Your at-
tendance and participation at the convenience of your home will make this event suc-
cessful.
In conclusion, I want to thank every member for their contributions and look for-
ward to the growth of our organization.
