On April 22, Helen and I attended the BPW Europe event for Earth Day, an annual
global event. Helen had collected personal pledges from members on what they could swap,
which were shown as a PowerPoint presentation.
Sara Britcliffe, Conservative MP for Hyndburn in Lancashire and a Party Political Sec-
retary at the Department of Education is the Wednesday speaker for May 2022.
As The North West and Midlands area prepares for the 2022 BPW UK Annual General
Meeting in June, I thank everyone for all their support and look forward to another year of
creating opportunities for members to be involved in its work and values.■
