P. 32

On a positive note, it was agreed at our AGM to form a new BPW Northern Ireland Club.
There were two clubs in Northern Ireland – Portadown with 5 members and The Belfast
Lunchtime Club with 5 members and one independent member. Members were asked to con-
firm they wished to join the new club and all were transferred in early April. We managed to
hold two Zoom meeting during the year – May and December. Members were updated on events
which had taken place, advised of anything happening in the future and importantly given a
chance to have a chat and catch up.

Several of our members were able to join a range of Zoom meetings arranged by BPW UK
which were found to be informative and useful.

We were delighted that Jacqui McLoughlin and Ruth Galwey became joint National Vice
President International and that a number of members agreed to join a number of working
         groups.

What a difficult almost two years we have all had. Hopefully 2022 will be kinder to us all
and we can start to enjoy our usual BPW get-togethers.

I would like to thank the regional team for their continued support and contribution and
to our members a big thank you for your understanding and support during the year.■

         President BPW Northern Ireland
