THE MERGER

Barbara J. Davis

On April 22, 2023, Bay Capital and Northern Districts met in Sacramento for
finalization of the merger between the districts, election of officers and Installation.

This officer was not in attendance at the meeting but wishes to extend thanks
first to the Committee that worked so diligently to draft the bylaws and work through
the merge process with this officer - Linda J. Lucas, Trudy Waldroop and Katherine
Winans.

Another Thank you to the members who attended the meeting in Sacramento to elect
officers, conduct installation and most importantly select the name of the new District
which is ‘BPW California North’.

Officers for the District:

President - Barbara J. Davis

Vice President - Pat Long

Secretary - Katherine Winans
Treasurer - Sher Singh

Parliamentarian - Michelle Husby

A district Executive Committee meeting will be held before the end of May with
ratification of committee chairs and calendar on the agenda.
