Lynn Brandstater

                                                        1958 - 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce
the passing of our beloved member and friend Lynn
Brandstater. Lynn has been a member of CFBPW
for many years and has made countless contribu-
tions to the federation. One of her most noteworthy
accomplishments was her presidency in 2020 and
2021.This period of time was marked by COVID
and we were limited to zoom meetings. Lynn accepted the challenge
and through her positive leadership assisted us in completing our
business and achieving our goals. Her favorite cause was the educa-
tion fund. She frequently urged members to make donations and
loved the idea of helping women with their training and education.

As past president Lynn remained very involved. She always
took on the responsibility of giving support and encouragement to
other members as they took on more challenging activities. When a
less experienced member made a presentation, she would tell them
“Good Job”. Lynn could be seen at Valley Sunset District meetings
sitting at the registration table. She always greeted both members
and guests with a welcome and a smile.

Lynn will be remembered as a dog lover. At one time she had
three- Princess Pettie, Delphina and Spencer. At times when the
door was open, Spencer would run out and Lynn would go running
after him. She said it was a good way to get her exercise!

Although Lynn was taken from us far too soon, her life was
full and meaningful. We will all remember the lady who gave so
much to the BPW organization and its members. Our memories will
                          last forever.

Lynn's service will be held on September 13th at 11am.
It will be at Holy Redeemer Church, 2411 Montrose Ave, Montrose.
