Membership
One of our Young members, Fernanda Bragato, decided to return to her home country. We
wished her well and expressed that we would be happy to have her back should she decide to
return to the UK. We were able to gain one new member, Valentina Marcolungo after she at-
tended our in-person meet-up while the members of the International Board were visiting. Ad-
ditionally, Otoha Hayashi has finally emigrated to the UK, joining us from Japan. She is cur-
rently serving as Acting VP Young BPW UK while Yasmin is pursuing short term studies.
Meetings
It has been difficult to have meetings and start/complete projects as the interest from the 35
and under members of the Working Group has been lacking. It is hoped that with Otoha’s help,
we may be able to devise a way of reaching these members, understanding their situations and
ultimately improving their participation.
AGM/Conference March 2023
We will conduct a session during the conference which will have two parts.
We are currently engaging with Alice Minuto on having an update/Q&A regarding events hap-
pening at the regional level. We also hope to have PNP Sylvia Perry in an interview style ses-
sion about BPW’s international relations. These plans have not yet been finalised.
We will be having a raffle. The proceeds will go towards Young BPW’s attendance at the Euro-
pean Conference in April.
Europe Conference
VP Yasmin will most likely be attending. Attendance of other Young members not yet con-
firmed.
