BPW INTERNATIONAL
CONSTITUTIONAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE 2021-24
The Role Ahead!
The members of the committee are all former or current Federation Presidents. They have diverse business
and professional skills. Their experience encompasses mediation skills, arbitration skills and the experience of
contract and civil law.
The Regional Representatives on the committee are;
BPW Asia-Pacific
Carolyn Savage, BPW New Zealand, and she is the CAC Chairman. She has 11 plus years working on the con-
stitution in her own federation, plus 6 years as a member of the CAC. She is the Chief Parliamentarian. She is
an architect, and also works in construction and contract law.
BPW Africa
Ojobo Atuluku is in her second term as a CAC member. She is a lawyer, with international development
experience.
BPW Europe
Dr Carla Laura Petruzzelli from FIDAPA (BPW Italy) is a Management Consultant, and is the Chair of the
Taskforce and Mentoring Working Group.
BPW Latin America
Beatriz Vidigal Xavier da Silveira Rosa is a specialist in mediation and arbitration, and in construction law.
BPW North America & The Caribbean
Samantha Sherman is an attorney with wide experience; she has a background in journalism and is a skilled
advocate.
BPW International Ex-Officio Representatives are;
BPW International President Dr Catherine Bosshart, former BPW I Vice President United Nations, former
BPW I Executive Secretary and is Professor of Modern History at Fribourg University.
Executive Secretary Jenny Gulamani Abdulla is a lawyer and constitutional reviewer for all Federation and
Affiliate Constitutions.
The Constitution and Regulations of BPW International cover all aspects of the work of BPW International
and therefore of BPW all over the world. The Constitution is, in effect, the rule book and the Procedure
Manual is how to follow the rules.
