Judith Van Unen

BPW Australia announced the sad passing of Judith Van Unen.

Judith was a past President of BPW Australia between 2000-2004.
She fought for decades to help influence national and international policies to em-
power women and promote gender equality.
Her integrity is well recognised, reflecting in repeated appointments for her to serve
as Election Chair for BPW International Assemblies for several Trienniums.

Judith was awarded the BPW International Badge of Honour in 2021.

A book of memories has been opened on a virtual page, and the family would wel-
come those who wish to leave a message to do so on the following link.

As an organization we are nothing if we do not recognise those who have gone be-
fore us to help build these blocks on which we continue to advocate for women’s
          empowerment and true gender equality.

My thanks to our colleagues in BPW Australia and Immediate Past International VP
for Membership Susan Jones for sharing this sad news with us.
