The 9th Young Symposium
at the European Conference
was truly time well spent. The programme was structured in a way which encour-
aged networking and allowed us to attend sessions on topics that were of particular
interest to us.
Of note was a session with Alice Minuto,
the Young European Representative and
Tomi Odunsi-Fadina
the Young International Representative.
Alice gave an overview of what various young groups were doing across Europe.
Topic areas included Equal Pay, Leadership, Mentoring and Women’s Empowerment.
Tomi spoke of some of her plans for her term and invited us to join the committee
working towards these goals.
I have joined the Onboarding Committee which is focused on creating a standard
process for onboarding new members as well as modernising membership.
