Mocking Biden for calling PA his home state (a true statement),
Trump declared, “It's not his home state. I actually went to college in Pennsylvania.” It is extremely rare for any person, much less a president, to claim residency in a state where he was not born, attended college only briefly and never lived. In addition to being rare, it’s stupid.
After being rejected by his top choice, the University of Southern California, Trump attended Fordham University in the Bronx for two years. “That’s where he got in,” reported his sister, and where his dreams of becoming a famous movie producer ended. With gobs of help from his father, Trump managed to get admitted to the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. When he graduated, he boasted that he “was first in his class,” but there is no record that substantiates his baldfaced assertion. He was not a top honoree at his commencement, nor was he in the top 56% of 366 students in
his class. He may have received a 2.0 or C average, which is required for graduation although a certificate bearing his name has never
been found.
In Wharton’s incoming 2020 class, 916 students were accepted (13%) out of 7,158 applicants representing 70 countries. Their average undergraduate GPA was 3.6 on a 4.0 grading scale, which calls Trump’s admission qualifications and grades into eternal question.
This story will be updated if anyone gets to the bottom of Trump’s education.
