President Trump flew to the Gastonia (NC) Municipal Airport this evening for a rally that was expected to attract more than 15,000 people, according to his campaign staff. However, the number was greatly overstated. By 6pm, only 500 people had lined up to greet the president, proving Trump’s repeated claim, “No one can attract crowds like me.”
Angel Godden loaded her five kids in the car at 6am Wednesday morning in order to drive 254 miles and secure space at the front of the airport line. Her teenage daughter sported a T-shirt bearing the words, “Girl for Trump.”
Supporter Godden had this to say, “I don’t think it’s going to be close, not close at all. Like the president says, everything you hear and read is fake news. The polls are a joke. The negative ads make me puke. Nobody but president Trump is telling the truth.”
After his Covid-45 scare, clearly Mr. Trump needed an ego boost, which he received in spades in Gastonia. When he deplaned, a band played the national anthem, and Fox News reporter and Trump defender Jane Frame warned the audience that Al Sharpton was trying to bring down the country. She urged the audience to contribute to
the Trump campaign, but not before purchasing a new phone sold
by Patriot Mobile, to insure that left-wingers would never have access to their personal information. Then her connection abruptly failed.
