reveal that he had sexually assaulted her, and that brutal, personal attack cannot be attributed to the Office of the President.”
Carroll said in a statement: “When Donald Trump assaulted me in that dressing room, he was not the president; he was a lecherous bully. When he called me a liar and denied that he had ever met me, those words came from the shameless orifice on his face, not the figurative mouth of the U.S. Government.”
Arguing Barr’s case definitely presented a conundrum. If the U.S. Government was given standing and found guilty, would it have to register as a sex offender? Would it have to wear the equivalent of an ankle bracelet? Could the U.S. Government be sent to jail, put on probation, or be required to perform community service?
Barr was vociferous in his disagreement with the judge’s ruling, “This suit would have sailed through on legal precedent and a win for my client were it not for Democrats who will stop at nothing to undermine the Trump administration. Now that we have another ally on the Supreme Court, we’re appealing all the way and we will win. Thankfully, president Trump and the U.S. Senate have cleared the path for an unadulterated victory!”
This story will be updated when Trump loses again on appeal.
