Mr. Obama apparently took a few cues from The Lincoln Project in portraying Trump as the laughingstock he is. Mr. Obama reminded
the audience that he used to live in the White House and expressed amazement that Trump could turn it into a Covid hot zone, “You know,
I lived there for awhile and it’s a controlled environment. Even without
a pandemic, the place is sterilized every day. So I shudder to think what went on, resulting in so many people testing positive. If the staff had not been injecting the bleach that Trump promoted, maybe things would have turned out better.”
President Obama also called out Trump for not comprehending the role of president, “Our current president, he whines that 60 Minutes is too tough. You think he is going to stand up to dictators? Just yesterday, just yesterday, Trump said that Putin of Russia, Xi of China, and Kim Jong-Un of North Korea want him to win. We know! We know because he’s been giving them whatever they want for the last four years. Of course they want him to win. That’s not a good thing. He shouldn’t brag about the fact that some of our greatest adversaries think they’d be better off with him in office. Of course they do. What does that say about Trump? I mean, think about that. Why is he bragging about that?”
