A dozen GOP national security experts descended on the White House at 9am this morning to demand that ex-president Trump act like a grownup and fess up to his election loss immediately.
The group was met at the Oval Office door by Trump’s aide and
sentry, Johnny McEntee. He was presented with an affidavit signed
by 100 GOP leaders, stating “President Trump’s refusal to permit the presidential transition poses significant risks to our national security,
at a time when the U.S. faces serious threats from global adversaries, terrorist groups, and other forces.” A group organizer, John B. Bellinger III, requested an emergency meeting with the soon-to-be ex-president. Mr. Bellinger was a legal adviser to the National Security Council and State Department during the George W. Bush administration.
McEntee advised the group, “Mr. G.O.A.T. president sir is being briefed by Fox & Friends and can’t be disrupted. He has a humongous schedule today, huddling with his legal teams, brainstorming extra-legal stuff, tweeting, playing golf, seeing Ivanka, and dealing with the fumigation
of his office which still carries a dog odor from the Obamas. A meeting today or any day this week is no-freaking-way.”
Mr. Bellinger pressed, “This is of utmost urgency and concerns the very core of American democracy. What can be done to elevate the priority of our request?”
