Today, president Trump indulged fifty supporters in Bemidji, a town
of 15,400 in north central Minnesota. The mini-rally kicked off with two unlikely hits from the 70s, Elton John’s “Tiny Dancer” and “YMCA” by the Village People. For some inexplicable reason, the tiny audience did not appear to be moved by either hit.
The president delivered a two-hour, threat-laden rant of topics ranging from an imminent Minnesota refugee invasion, Big Ten football, has-been Beto O’Rourke, taking God out of the U.S., the tremendous Jason Lewis – “central casting, right?” – sleazebag recipients of the Pulitzer Prize, and lauding Robert E. Lee who led the South’s effort
to secede from the Union in the Civil War. That was the first hour.
The president appeared obsessed with Minnesota being overrun and destroyed by refugees from Yemen, Syria, and especially Somalia,
if Joe Biden, Tina Smith and Ilhan Omar prevail in the 2020 election. His diatribe was replete with words such as “manifesto,” “disaster,” “rape,” “rampage,” “murder” and “opening the floodgates to radical Islamic terrorists.” Trump reassured his miniscule audience with this promise: “But if you vote for me, I’m the difference, and I’m the wall. You know the wall that we’re building on the southern border? I’m your wall between the American Dream and chaos. Joe Biden is wholly owned and controlled by the left wing mob.”
