The Council for National Policy (CNP), a decades old ultra-conservative group that includes Ginni Thomas – wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas – as a member, is going all out to secure another four years for president Trump.
CNP’s executive committee president Bill Walton holds nothing back, “This is a spiritual battle we’re in. This is good versus evil. We have to do everything we can to win.”
A recent CNP press release states that everything means EVERYTHING. CNP members and supporters are currently involved in the following initiatives:
• Fight a leftwing plan “to steal the election” by delaying the vote tally until January 20, 2021, in order to seat Nancy Pelosi as acting president, which could “cause a justifiable civil war.”
• Engage in “ballot harvesting,” a technique that involves collecting and delivering sealed absentee ballots from White evangelical, Hispanic and Asian churches. Ironically, last spring, Trump blasted Democrats for the same practice, tweeting, “GET RID OF BALLOT HARVESTING, IT IS RAMPANT WITH FRAUD.”
• Organize a National Pray-A-Thon scheduled for the Sunday before Election Day. A spokeswoman for the Congressional Prayer Caucus
