• Develop, produce and deploy a do-or-die national advertising campaign featuring doctors in white lab coats with stethoscopes, looking at the camera sympathetically. A CNP member revealed that its proprietary marketing research found that featuring doctors, preferably men, in ads breeds trust among voters. A script is not necessary; images of doctors are all that matters.
• “Keep college campuses closed,” Charlie Kirk pleaded at an August closed-door CNP policy meeting. That simple step, he claimed, would guarantee that up to 500,000 leftwing students would not vote. Kirk is founder and president of Turning Point USA (TPUSA),
a rightwing organization that has links to white supremacy.
TPUSA’s mission is to “expose” college and university professors who “discriminate” against conservative students by excluding conspiracy theories from their lesson plans, not calling on conservative students who raise their hands in class, and designing tests to automatically fail conservative students.
When Charlie Kirk was contacted for comment on his college-closing idea, he responded, “Like, it’s a great thing. Like, way cool.”
This story will be updated if Charlie Kirk comes to his senses.
