Techniques & Methods Used

Research and brainstorming ideas led to these three

design solution ideas. The pet adoption landscape in
Ireland is vastly available but hugely underfunded and
unsupported by many, as well as being having a few
bad reputations. Therefore, an awareness campaign
would hugely benefit animal organisations as it will bring
recognition and even funding if used as a charity event.

Research also shows that many pet owners lack
knowledge of proper pet care, especially when it

comes to different breeds and their specific needs.
This is where an infomation leaflet or a pet app
would benefit all animal lovers so that the public can
become more responsible with their pets and result in
less animal abandonments or shelter surrenduring.

A pet app would also benefit pet owners as it would

create a support system and instant access to further
pet care information, especially for those dealing with
pet behavioural issues. These ideas will benefit both pet
owners and animal organisations to equip individuals
with knowledge, support, and tools to train their pets.
