Form Benchmarking
The purpose of the form benchmarking
board was to create a base by where cer-
tian elements of the product would take ref-
erence from. Although the initial sketching
phase focused primarily on the from factor
of the product, the form benchmarking
board was aimed to both help with the form
generation, but also to focus on the colour
swatch of the product, along with the tile
style board. Particular attention was paid to
some of the images referenced makin use
of some ambient lighting within a dark
space. This use of lighting showed great
potential for use within an Audio Technica
product range, given their typical dark finis-
es to their products.
