The Enhance Our Environment Initiative hosted a Dish Garden Demonstration Workshop on October 16th.
This was an opportunity to bring gardening indoors to learn how to create your own customized dish gar-
den. Soror Karen Barnes, Lead of the Community and Home Gardens Area of Focus, led the workshop by
demonstrating the steps and providing information on the needed supplies to create a dish garden. In addi-
tion, Soror Karen Barnes provided important gardening tips relevant to the fall and winter seasons. This
was a wonderful activity to encourage indoor home gardening!
