EGO and Gamma Mu Chapters Stepping Up to Fight Food
Insecurity!
We’re proud to share the incredible impact made by the EGO
Chapter’s Uplift Program Committee and the Gamma Mu
Chapter, who recently teamed up to deliver much-needed do-
nations to the Alabama A&M University Bulldog Pantry!
Food insecurity is a challenge faced by students on campuses
across the country, and Alabama A&M is no different. These
donations go beyond helping students—they provide hope. One student shared their gratitude:
“I’m so appreciative that the Bulldog Market serves students in need. I have my own apartment for the
first time, and I come from a low-income family. I can’t buy everything I need, but the Bulldog Market
mitigates that!”
Pantry manager Debra Harris emphasized how vital this support is. Some students can only take three
items a day, underscoring how important these contributions are. Thanks to your generosity, students can
focus on their studies, knowing their basic needs are met.
