PINK GOES RED IMPACT DAY

Target 2 participated in the Pink Goes Red Community
Impact Day. Pink Goes Red Lead, Soror Janice Toney,
provided Target 2 with a unique community activity. There were twenty-five
sorors that delivered over 130 heart healthy snacks to the residents at the
Brookshire Nursing Home. There were sixteen volunteers from the facility that

helped the sorors. This was a very heart wrenching visit to this facility. The
residents were genuinely happy to see us. They were very thankful for the treats
but most of all for our visit. The Sparkling A Team also participated in Pink Goes
Red. On this Target 2 impact day, the team continues to commit to taking a
virtual walk with the Supreme. Walking 30 minutes per day can have huge
health benefits, namely cutting your chance of developing cardiovascular
diseases. By increasing your heart rate, daily walks greatly improve your overall
heart health. Later that night, EGO ladies joined Instructor Dell Watkins for Hot
Yoga Deluxe.
