held on Thursday, July 13 . Chapter Basilei and Membership Chairmen (graduate and undergraduate) and
Graduate Advisors were required to attend the one-day summit. The goal of the summit was to empower all
sorors to take an active part in eliminating, reducing and managing risks facing Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority,
Incorporated. The summit was designed to challenge sorors to examine existing chapter operations, behaviors
and practices that could jeopardize Alpha Kappa Alpha's brand and legacy of sisterhood and service. Through
thought provoking panel discussions and interactive workshops, sorors were able to discuss membership and
the MIP process, hazing, chapter operations, programs and reputation risks. Some sessions were designed for
          undergraduates only.
