It is with great pleasure, excitement,
enthusiasm, and appreciation that I
Greet You and say Welcome to THE
Basileus Corner EGO Ivy Informer, our official
Soror Wilma J. Ruffin system for sharing the good news
about events, activities, programs,
and sorors of Epsilon Gamma Omega
Chapter. A very special thank you to
Soror Latoyia Clemons, Chairman of
the Newsletter Committee, and the
newsletter committee for their commitment and dedication to publishing the newsletter. Thanks to the
contributors to the newsletter as well.
As we celebrated the 107th anniversary of our illustrious sisterhood on January 15th, I was reminded
by a soror to reflect on the past 14 days and acknowledge that we were only 15 days into a “New
Year,” 15 days into a “New Administration” for Epsilon Gamma Omega Chapter and the
implementation of a few “New Ideas” and practices. I encourage each of you to spend some reflection
time as we embark upon our journey of “Launching New Dimensions of Service.” During my
reflection, I acknowledged that much has been accomplished. I recognize that much has been
accomplished because of the many “AKA” days we have had during this “New Year.” What are
“AKA” days? They are those days dedicated almost or entirely to the work of “AKA.” Sorors, I thank
you for your “AKA” days, for your service and your leadership.
