TARGET II: HEALTH PROMOTION

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated continues its efforts to increase the
emphasis on diet, exercise and hypertension management by launching a new stroke
and heart disease prevention awareness campaign. Led by Sorors Truelove Sandifer,
Adelaide Stone and Harriett Clark, EGO’s Target II: Health Promotion will focus on
three areas: Alzheimer’s disease, Stroke and Mental Illness.
AREA 1: Stroke & Heart Disease Awareness
Target II is making plans to participate in the chapter to participate in benefit walks to
the annual American Heart Association’s raise funds for health related charities and
to increase awareness of health conditions
